Spring 2007
Greetings from the beautiful Pacific Northwest (yes, it is raining) but the green landscape makes it all worth while.
I want to thank all of you that attended the 2007 MSR Workshop, in Scottsdale, AZ. It was a pleasure seeing everyone again.
Although lightly attended, I found the speakers to be both educational as well as entertaining. I would like to extend my personal thanks to Craig Steele of Schuck Component Systems for his Yeoman efforts. Craig you did a fantastic job bringing this entire meeting together and arranging all of our activities at the Orange Tree Resort.
Looking to the future, the MSR Lumber Producers Council mission statement is to promote the benefits of MSR and increase the usage and accountability of related products. This will prove to be a formidable task during these periods of low housing starts.
I want to assure you that your board and my focus are to meet these challenges head on. But the board can not do this alone. Your commitment, attendance and input are vital to our organization. I welcome your comments and suggestions on how we can grow our membership and bring around real change in our industry. I look forward to serving you and remain dedicated to promote the values of MSR lumber.
Reed Trull
President, MSR Lumber Producers Council.
